Concrete Screws
Concrete screws are used for mounting PVC, aluminum, and wood materials onto concrete and similar surfaces without the need for plugs.
Advantages:
- Saves time, labor, and costs.
- The deep dust channel expels dust from the hole, preventing clogging.
- Has high grip strength.
Application Information: Here are some important tips for using concrete screws:
- Use a T30 bit when driving screws.
- Use a torque-adjustable electric screwdriver.
- Pre-drill with a 6 mm drill bit before screwing.
- Drill the hole 10 mm deeper than the screw’s thread length.
- The screw depth ranges from 25 mm to 60 mm, depending on the hardness of the material.
- When using concrete screws, it’s important to know how to drill the hole. The hole should be drilled slightly deeper than usual to prevent dust from building up inside the hole.
Procedure:
- Measure the thickness of the material to be attached to the concrete. Choose a screw that is 5 mm to 4.5 cm longer than the thickness of the material.
- Choose the correct drill bit slightly smaller than the screw’s diameter.
- Measure the screw length and mark the drill bit with tape to prevent drilling too deep.
- Drill until reaching the tape and clean out excess material.
- Place the material over the hole and screw it into the concrete.
