Description
MAGNASOLVE MGN – 3001 is an elastomer-based bitumen, cold-applied, waterproofing tape. One side is coated with aluminum foil, while the other side features a self-adhesive surface.
Applications
- Provides waterproofing by adhering to various surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, plaster, and concrete.
- Also used for soundproofing in vehicles and ships.
- Aluminum foil coating on the top surface.
- Can be easily applied even on sloped surfaces due to its elasticity.
- Compatible with bituminous systems.

Application Procedure
Surface Preparation
- The application surface must be dry, clean, and free from materials that prevent adhesion, such as dust, oil, rust, and loose particles.
- Highly absorbent surfaces like concrete, plaster, and particleboard must be primed with a bitumen-based primer.
Application Method
- Remove the protective film from MAGNASOLVE MGN – 3001 and press the self-adhesive side firmly onto the substrate.
- Ensure full contact with the surface by pressing down over the entire area.
- Use a silicone roller to ensure proper adhesion.

Storage Conditions & Shelf Life
- Shelf life of 2 years from the production date, provided it is stored in its original, sealed, and undamaged packaging.
- Store in a dry environment at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight.
- If the ambient temperature is below +10°C, the use of a heat source is recommended for easier application.
